This shot, taken during golden hour in Papago, Arizona, showcases the sun dropping behind atree-lined horizon, setting the sky ablaze with saturated reds, oranges, anddeep shadows. After the shoot, I reviewed the image at my local wateringhole, where the bartender looked at it and said, “Lion King.” Though I didn’tcatch the reference right away, the name stuck. It’s become a fanfavorite—both vibrant and nostalgic.
